The founders of the A.J. Mason family business had established a successful construction business in Shanghai during the 1940s before seeing an opportunity to journey further South. In the 1950s, the founders had expanded their business to Hong Kong which eventually led to the establishment of A.J. Mason in 1978. This family-operated business is dedicated to developing people-centric properties made to endure for generations to come. Through their ambition and hard work, the different generations of the family have brought the company to where it is today: a business built on trust, respect, and kindness.

Paul Y. Construction was where all this started. Mr. A.J. Sze had created the company in Shanghai and had brought it to Hong Kong before listing it on the public market in 1970. The company had performed extremely well and played a major role in expanding Hong Kong's infrastructure to what it is today.
